With the graduation on 22/03/2023, I closed the chapter of obtaining my MBA Management of Artificial Intelligence diploma and a certification as « Manager of Digital Engineering » at Devinci Executive Education in Paris.
I would like to thank the MBA’s Director Joachim Massias, as well as joel Belafa and Emmanuel Blaise Bayong, my professional thesis Directors, for their advices and assistance during this course and on my thesis reflection.

My professional thesis focused on « How can AI contribute to improving and making reliable decision-making for an oil and gas project through risk assessment? »
The case study here focused on the use of AI during the feasibility study phase of the project.
As some may know, the boundaries of exploration, development and production in the oil industry face challenges related to geopolitics, harsher environments and new technologies, it is more important than ever to understand the major risks involved in a project feasibility study within the oil and gas industry, in order to ensure high and continuous levels of safety and environmental protection, as well as increased efficiency and cost reduction. Given the ever-increasing demand for hydrocarbons by man and its permanent industrialisation, it is becoming increasingly expensive to explore and develop new commercially viable oil or gas wells without financial and environmental risks.
Would AI be able to accelerate decision-making in such a regulated sector through its use in the feasibility study of a project? Would it be able to help improve performance in the industry projects by assessing the risks that may arise, and by automating processes and operations?
